Rocky Mountain Institute Launches New Blog on Innoventions CMS

Innoventions, Inc, a pioneering social content and communications company, today announced the launch of RMI Outlet, Rocky Mountain Institute's new blogging solution. Innoventions customized their blogging module to meet RMI’s unique content management and business requirements, integrating it into the organization’s global content management system (CMS) also engineered by Innoventions.

Bind

Web 3.0 is here! Bind is a San Francisco based fashion company on the fast-track to mega-stardom. The company commissioned Innoventions to build a system linking its e-commerce functionality to its inventory, web display, buyers and everything and everyone in between. The launch of the Bind website will demonstrate Innoventions' use of semantic markup language in the W3C RDFa format and Good Relations, which is a standardized vocabulary for product, price, and company data that is embedded into existing static and dynamic Web pages which is now being supported by Google. Scheduled for release March 2011.

RetroFit™

Building on their success with the Empire State Building, Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) takes retrofits to an even deeper level, finding ways to achieve bigger energy savings faster and applying them to a greater number and wider variety of building types. Under this new initiative, called RetroFit™, RMI hopes to spur the retrofit of at least 500 buildings within five years. A new website dedicated to this initiative launched January 2011.

Pi Alley Garage

The challenge was to construct the Pi Alley Garage web site as an information rich resource for its target audiences, leveraging the appropriate technologies to support Pi Alley Garage's core focus – namely effectively and concisely communicating the value proposition of using its garages and filling up empty parking spaces. In addition to a design overhaul, adopting a sophisticated color palette and architectural visual focus, Pi Alley Garage also contains some nifty features designed to improve its SEO rankings. Launched on August 23, 2010, Pi Alley Parking Garage now provides one of the richest sources of information pertaining to events and happenings in Downtown Boston than any site out there.
