Why proprietary over Open Source?

Too many of our clients had issues regarding IP ownership and privacy considerations that made Open Source too uncomfortable a proposition. While our technologies are proprietary, the open architecture and .Net underpinning ensures all our controls are fully customizable after we hand off the product.

A simple but robust data structure allows for easy customization of unique business rules.

From an IT resource perspective, any entry-to-mid-level .NET programmer would be able to accomplish most minor changes required.

Bottom line – the genius who made that cool open source app may not be around when a new browser version swings around. We're betting Microsoft will be.
